Ohio SNAP recipients who lose food due to a power outage lasting 4 hours or more can apply for replacement benefits. You must complete Ohio JFS Form 07222 within 10 days of the food loss and submit it along with outage proof to your local County Department of Job and Family Services.

Eligibility Rules
-The power outage must last for 4 hours or longer.
-You must apply within 10 days of the date the food spoiled.
-Replacement value equals the actual food lost, up to your total monthly benefit amount.
Required Steps to Apply
-Download and fill out Ohio JFS Form 07222.
-Gather proof of the outage, such as news screenshots, utility alerts, or local outage maps.
-Submit the paperwork directly to your County Department of Job and Family Services office via drop-off, email, or fax.

At Silver Lining ABA, we believe that meaningful impact extends beyond the walls of our clinics and into the communities we serve.

Recently, our CEO, Kristen Wilcock, BCBA, and COO, Michele Murphy, had the privilege of traveling to Jamaica to collaborate with caregivers, educators, and professionals supporting children and adults at West Haven Children’s Home. Together, they shared evidence-based ABA strategies, developed practical tools, and explored ways to create meaningful support for the individuals in their care.

While they were honored to provide training and resources, what made this experience truly special were the relationships built along the way. The dedication, resilience, and compassion demonstrated by the staff and community members served as a powerful reminder that learning is always a two-way exchange.

One of the most exciting outcomes of this experience is that the partnership will continue long after the trip has ended. The Jamaica team has invited us to provide ongoing training and consultation, and we are proud to share that a BCBA from our organization will be providing remote support and mentorship. In addition, we look forward to sending additional team members in the near future to continue sharing knowledge, building skills, and strengthening this collaborative relationship.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the residents, caregivers, educators, and community partners who welcomed Kristen and Michele so warmly. We are also thankful to the incredible team at Hi-5 ABA for helping make this collaboration possible and for their commitment to expanding access to quality ABA resources and support.

Experiences like these reinforce our belief that when we lead with compassion, collaboration, and a commitment to learning, we create opportunities for growth that benefit everyone involved.

📚 We had a wonderful visit from our the St. Clairsville Public library today at our St.C center.

Our kids enjoyed listening to a story and participating in movement activities that kept everyone engaged.
