Checking in! I’m sorry I haven’t been very interactive this week - I’m happy to say that work has been keeping me running!
Tell me if you’ve started the detox or where you’re at and what you’re thinking so I can help!
I’m on day 7 and I’m so glad I did all the cooking last weekend! With my crazy schedule it was so easy to heat up one of the soups, warm up my turkey burger and other vegetable (I roasted a big bag of fresh brocolli with onions and a big bag of Brussel sprouts, and with all the salad pre-cutting done - I could grab a little bit of whatever I wanted in my salad and dinner (and in many cases lunch) was ready in 5 minutes!
I’ve had more energy through the day (no 1pm lagging and dragging).
I havent been hungry at all! I was craving some popcorn early on - probably more for the crunch factor - but instead I grabbed some almonds or pecans and then completely forgot about my craving 😊
The detox baths have been amazing and I haven’t slept so well in a long time!
AND I’ve lost 4 lbs!
If you’ve started and stopped - don’t give up. Just start back up the next meal! If you have something special in the midst of the 10 days - it’s ok!
You can also do this plan longer than 10 days if you choose! I think I may do it until I go on vacation mid-April. I may veer off for a day or have drink or some coffee - but that doesn’t mean I have to completely go off the rails. I FEEL really good eating like this. My inflammation overall is down. My fingers and my knees don’t hurt, my belly is flatter, my mood is better. You can’t beat that!
