Putnam County Health Council is a community-driven effort to unite community voices and resources to break down barriers, reduce disparities, and create a healthier, more hopeful future for all who call Putnam County home.🍃Message us to take part! As part of a statewide network supported by the Tennessee Department of Health, we bring together voices from across sectors—education, healthcare, loca

l government, nonprofits, mental health, and more—to identify local health needs and create meaningful, sustainable solutions. We lead the County Health Improvement Process, using data and community input to set priorities and implement action plans that address the root causes of health challenges—also known as the Social Drivers of Health. Our mission is to:

-Foster collaboration across community sectors
-Promote health equity and access
-Support evidence-based strategies for lasting impact
-Empower residents to take part in shaping a healthier future

Hannah Wilson will be hosting two fully online Youth Mental Health First Aid courses, on both August 21st and August 27th from 10 am to 4 pm CST. This will require 2 hours of prework, due by midnight the day before your prefered course. This is open to all Tennessee residents 18+ and is completely free! This certifies you for 3 years and counts towards Continuing Education hours for some certifications. Please email [email protected] to register.

💠Call 911 immediately.
💠Move to a cool place
💠Remove extra clothing
💠Cool the body with water or ice until help arrives.
