As we celebrate EMS Week here at 79, we want to extend our sincere gratitude to two of our outstanding partners, Baptist Health EMS and Whitley County EMS.

Day in and day out, these dedicated professionals answer the call, providing exceptional care to the communities we all serve. Whether working alongside us on critical patients, assisting with transfers, or responding to emergencies in the field, their commitment, professionalism, and teamwork never go unnoticed.

We are grateful for the strong partnerships we share and for the trust they place in us. Thank you to all the EMTs, Advanced EMTs, and Paramedics who work tirelessly to make a difference every day.

Leah is no stranger to the Air Evac family. She was an inaugural crew member at Air Evac Lifeteam 179 - London, KY and most recently has served with Air Evac Lifeteam 33 - Middlesboro, KY, bringing years of experience, dedication, and knowledge to our base.

We’re excited to have her joining our crew and know she’ll continue providing to the patients and communities we serve every day. In true Corbin fashion she has already started off hot with a flight with her partner Flight Nurse Jaime and Base Pilot Supervisor John🔥

This Nurses Week, our crews had the honor of delivering BBQ and gift baskets to the incredible staff at Baptist Health Corbin as a small token of appreciation for everything they do each and every day. ❤️

The dedication, compassion, and hard work shown by the nurses and healthcare teams at BHC never go unnoticed, and we’re thankful for the partnership we share in caring for our communities.

In true healthcare fashion, the day and nights stayed busy. While celebrating alongside the staff, our crews also completed 3 flights from BHC, continuing to provide for patients in need.

They work tirelessly behind the scenes—dispatching help, providing lifesaving instructions, and supporting first responders and the community 24/7. Their professionalism, quick thinking, and compassion truly make a difference every single day.
