This is what quitting looks like. They didn't white-knuckle it, or deal with cravings, use their limited supply of will-power, or switch delivery systems by using patches, or gum.
Each pack in that jar represents the client's last cigarette. They love the symbolism, and I love saving another life.
Also, a pack a day in NC adds up to $2,500 - $2,900 a year, so there's the money angle as well.
