Congratulations to Lane Giboney, registered phlebotomist in the Laboratory at Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital, our June hospital-based Rising Star! 🌟

Lane was recognized after going above and beyond to assist a patient who was concerned about making it safely back to their vehicle following a lab visit. Without hesitation, he retrieved a wheelchair, helped the patient into it and escorted them all the way to their car. 💙 His attentiveness and willingness to help ensured the patient felt supported throughout their visit.

Our June hospital-based Rising Star at Samaritan Albany General Hospital is Tatiana Chess, RN. 🙌 Tatiana was nominated by several co-workers who praised her clinical expertise, attention to detail and professionalism while caring for a critically ill patient in the ICU-CCU. One colleague shared that Tatiana picked up an extra shift to care for the patient and stayed after her shift to help coordinate the transfer to a higher level of care. Others recognized her efficiency, communication and kindness during an exceptionally complex case. 💙
