In home care, we have the privilege of getting to know some truly remarkable men. We hear their stories, learn from their experiences, laugh at their jokes, and witness the love they have for their families. Many have spent decades working hard, serving their communities, raising children, and building the lives we enjoy today.

Father’s Day is a reminder that behind every client is a lifetime of memories, sacrifices, accomplishments, and people who love them.

To all of the fathers we serve, the fathers in our Grace Givers family, and the fathers who are no longer with us but whose legacy lives on—we honor you today.

Thank you for your strength, wisdom, and the example you’ve set for generations to come.

❤️ Happy Father’s Day from all of us at Grace Givers.

Tired of caring for 15 people at a time? .......Come care for one.

"I spent years working in facilities caring for resident after resident, shift after shift. While I truly cared about the people I served, there never seemed to be enough time. There was always another call light, another task, another room waiting.

Now, instead of rushing from person to person, I get to focus on one client at a time. I learn their stories, their routines, and what matters most to them. I have the opportunity to build real relationships and provide the kind of care I would want for my own family.

That's what makes this work so meaningful.
I don't feel like I'm just completing tasks anymore. I feel like I'm making a difference."

If you've ever left work feeling like you couldn't give your residents the time and attention they deserved, you're not alone.

At Grace Givers, we believe great care starts with relationships. That's why our caregivers have the opportunity to provide one-on-one care and truly get to know the people they serve.

We're looking for compassionate, dependable caregivers who love helping others and want a career where kindness, patience, and connection matter.
💛 One-on-one client care
💛 Flexible scheduling
💛 Competitive pay
💛 Supportive local office team
💛 All shifts available
💛 Full-time and part-time opportunities
💛 Only one weekend per month required

Whether you're looking for days, evenings, overnights, or weekends, we'd love to talk with you.

Because caregiving isn't just about completing tasks.
It's about making someone's day a little brighter, helping them remain independent, and being the person they look forward to seeing.

If that sounds like the kind of work you've been looking for, apply below (link in comments)

💙LOOKING FOR CARING PEOPLE, NOT JUST CAREGIVERS 💙
Grace Givers Home Care is growing, and we're looking for compassionate, dependable people to join our team.
Do you work in healthcare, long-term care, assisted living, childcare, customer service, education, ministry, or another helping profession? Your experience may be exactly what we're looking for.
We are currently hiring:
✅ Full-Time & Part-Time Positions
✅ Day & Night Shifts Available
✅ Starting Pay: $16.00 Per Hour
✅ Paid Training Provided
✅ Flexible Scheduling
Our caregivers help seniors remain safe and independent in their own homes by providing personal care assistance, meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry assistance, companionship, and other daily support.
This is rewarding work, but it is not a sitting position. Our caregivers stay active throughout their shifts and play an important role in helping seniors maintain their dignity, independence, and quality of life.
No caregiving experience? That's okay. We provide training for the right people.
We're looking for people who are:
✔ Compassionate
✔ Dependable
✔ Patient
✔ Comfortable assisting seniors with personal care needs
✔ Willing to help with light housekeeping and household tasks
✔ Looking for meaningful work that truly makes a difference
At Grace Givers, you'll have the opportunity to build real relationships with clients and provide the kind of one-on-one care that changes lives.

Memorial Day is not just about remembering the fallen.

It is also about remembering
the families they left behind.

The mothers still missing their children.
The spouses learning how to live with loss.
The children growing up without them.
The families carrying grief
through every birthday,
every holiday,
every milestone,
and every ordinary day in between.

Some sacrifices never ended.

Sending love this Memorial Day to
the mothers,
fathers,
spouses,
children,
siblings,
grandparents,
best friends,
military families,
Gold Star families,
and every heart carrying loss.

De-escalation starts with your approach.
When someone is agitated:
• Keep your voice calm and steady
• Avoid arguing or correcting
• Give physical and emotional space
• Redirect the conversation gently
The goal is to reduce stress—not win the moment.

One of the most common things we see in caregiving…
is how fast everything starts to feel.
Rushing through the day can lead to frustration, confusion, and even accidents—especially when mobility or memory is involved.
Slowing things down, even just a little, can make a big difference.
More calm.
More cooperation.
Fewer stressful moments.
You don’t have to rush through it. 🤍

The FDA has approved the drug Auvelity for the treatment of agitation in adults with Alzheimer's dementia.

The extended-release tablet is the first FDA-approved medication for this condition that is not an anti-psychotic.

Anti-psychotics carry serious risks including stroke, sedation and increased death in older adults, according to the FDA. Having a non-antipsychotic option may be safer for patients, experts say.
