Week 2 of our Friends of ACE Pickleball Club was a great one. 🏓

I’m especially grateful that we were able to welcome 2 new friends this week and officially fill all of our spots for the semester.

Seeing this club continue to grow reminds me why this matters so much. Time together, real connection, and lasting friendships are what Friends of ACE is all about.

We kicked off our Friends of ACE Pickleball Club this week! 🏓

I loved seeing everyone come together for our first night. Creating opportunities to connect, spend time together, and build lasting friendships is what Friends of ACE is all about.

We did it.

Our first North Texas Giving Day is over, and Friends of ACE finished at $14,015.

We also reached our $100/month recurring giving challenge.

I keep thinking about how this started with a $10,000 goal and a lot of uncertainty about what our first year would look like.

Then people started giving.

Friends told friends. Families shared our posts. People encouraged us. New people learned who we are. Monthly donors stepped forward. And little by little, something that started as a fundraising goal became a picture of the kind of community we are trying to build.

This money matters because of what comes next.

More friendship. More community. More opportunities for adults with special needs to be known, valued, and connected.

We walk alongside adults with special needs to unify our community through lasting friendships.

To every person who had a hand in this first North Texas Giving Day:

We will remember this one.

That also creates $1,200 a year in recurring support for Friends of ACE.

We passed our original $10,000 goal, and now we’re going for another $3,000 by September 17.
