Therapy Thursday 🎈

At Beacon Harbor, some of the best therapy sessions don’t always look like therapy.

Today’s group activity challenged our residents to work together while building important skills that support everyday independence. Through movement, coordination, and a lot of laughter, residents practiced:

✅ Reaching and stretching
✅ Hand-eye coordination
✅ Upper body strength
✅ Following directions
✅ Social engagement and teamwork

Moments like these remind us that therapy can be both meaningful and enjoyable. When residents are engaged and having fun, they’re often accomplishing more than they realize.
