Take time in your day to notice the little things, a lovely sunset, an ant crawling, a beautiful flower blooming, children laughing. Be intentional about slowing down. Bring this awareness into your body and pay attention to what happens when you slow down as a act of self-care. See if you can bring this intentional act of slowing down into your routine more than once a day. Your nervous system will thank you.
