Happy National Gorgeous Grandma Day! 👑✨💐

Today we’re celebrating the incredible grandmothers of Cross Timbers with a special Royal Glamour Shots photoshoot! From sparkling crowns to vibrant gowns, each resident shined with confidence, elegance, and timeless beauty.

These beautiful women have spent their lives creating memories, sharing wisdom, and inspiring generations. Today was all about celebrating them and reminding them that they are truly queens.

Happy National Gorgeous Grandma Day to all of the wonderful grandmothers who make Cross Timbers such a special place! 💖

✨ Employee Spotlight: Linda Tew ✨

Meet Linda Tew, a dedicated member of the Cross Timbers family!

Linda has been part of the Nexion family since 2005. After leaving in 2012 to work in hospice care, she spent seven years with Mercy Hospice before returning home to Cross Timbers in 2019. We’re so grateful she chose to bring her experience, compassion, and heart back to our team!

When she’s not at work, Linda enjoys traveling, playing pickleball, going to concerts, staying active with aerobics, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Thank you, Linda, for your years of dedication and the kindness you show to our residents and team every day. We’re lucky to have you at Cross Timbers! 💙

✨ Meet the Team Spotlight: Latoya Moody ✨

We’re proud to shine the spotlight on Latoya Moody, our dedicated Human Resources professional at Cross Timbers Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center!

Latoya has spent her career serving others in many meaningful ways. She proudly served in the United States Navy for three years before spending 12 rewarding years teaching students with special needs. For the past 13 years, she has worked in Human Resources within long-term care and skilled nursing, combining her passion for helping people with her administrative expertise.

For the last three years, Latoya has been an invaluable part of the Cross Timbers family. Known for her hands-on approach and open-door attitude, she enjoys working alongside our team and is always willing to step in wherever she’s needed. Her mission is simple: to ensure every employee feels valued, supported, and empowered to provide the highest quality care to our residents.

🎉🪩 National Bingo Day looked a little different at Cross Timbers… and we loved every minute of it!

Our residents traded in traditional bingo for a glow-filled Rave Party Bingo celebration complete with music, laughter, and plenty of fun. When administration went looking for the residents, there was only one place they could be found… Activities! 🎶🎁🎈

Creating memorable moments and bringing joy to our residents is what we do best. Thank you to our amazing Activities team for making National Bingo Day one to remember! 💙

CNA Week Fun at Cross Timbers! 🎉💙

We had an amazing time celebrating our incredible CNAs during CNA Week! The week was filled with fun themes, great food, and lots of laughter as we recognized the hardworking team members who make a difference every day.

From Disney Day and Nerd Day to a festive Luau and a delicious Olive Garden lunch, there was something special for everyone to enjoy. We wrapped up the celebration with exciting rounds of Intercom Bingo, refreshing Mango Lemonades, and plenty of smiles from residents and staff alike!

Thank you to our outstanding CNAs for your compassion, dedication, and commitment to providing exceptional care. We appreciate all that you do and were honored to celebrate you throughout the week! ❤️👏
