Here’s a hot take: we’re not doing anything new.
For generations, “it takes a village to raise a child” was in practice. There were hands to hold the baby, meals being made, wisdom being passed down, and people making sure the mother was cared for, too. But somewhere along the way, our villages got smaller. We moved farther from the communities we grew up in. Grandparents couldn’t always be there. We stopped knowing our neighbors. And somehow, raising a baby became something we were expected to figure out largely on our own.
But support was never supposed to be optional.
At Ahma & Co, we’re simply bringing the village back—reimagined for the way families live today. 🤍 Because mothers have always needed a village. And they still do.
