Today was a beautiful day on the water! Our residents enjoyed a wonderful boat cruise on the Celebration Belle, and it could not have been a more perfect day to be outside. The sunshine, fresh air, and beautiful views made for a relaxing and memorable experience for everyone involved. We are so thankful for days like today that bring smiles, laughter, and great memories to our residents.

Day 5 of National Skilled Nursing Care Week, and our final celebration was a Sports Day Carnival Fair for both staff and residents. We were fortunate to enjoy a beautiful sunny day filled with patio games, laughter, and great company. Our kitchen staff prepared a delicious lunch featuring grilled hamburgers, potato salad, baked beans, and fresh watermelon for everyone to enjoy.

This week was truly a success, and we would like to extend a sincere thank you to everyone who played a part in making National Skilled Nursing Care Week so memorable and special for our residents and staff. Your hard work, dedication, and support are greatly appreciated.

Day 4 of Nursing Home Week was a relaxing and enjoyable Pajama Day for both staff and residents. We started the morning with delicious donuts generously provided by Compassus Hospice, which was greatly appreciated by everyone. Throughout the day, staff and residents spent time together painting flower pots and planting seeds, giving residents the opportunity to watch their flowers grow and bloom over the coming weeks. Wednesday, Day 3 of National Skilled Nursing Care Week was Decades Day, filled with fun and great memories for both staff and residents. We started the morning with energy drinks generously provided by Heartland Hospice, which was greatly appreciated by our staff.

Throughout the day, management hosted music trivia, giving everyone the opportunity to have fun and win prizes. Thank you to everyone who helped make it another enjoyable and eventful day!

Day 2 of Appreciation Week was Decades Day! While serving ice cream sundaes to our staff, residents joined in the fun by spreading cheer with pom-poms, making the event even more special.

Today marked the beginning of a fun-filled week here at Harmony Davenport with our Western Theme Day. Staff and residents enjoyed a delicious nacho bar as a small token of appreciation for the dedication, compassion, and hard work shown each day in caring for our residents. Today was an exciting and enjoyable day for our residents as we took a trip to a local pond for a fishing outing. It was a wonderful opportunity to spend time outdoors and create lasting memories. Congratulations to the three individuals pictured, who had the lucky catch of the day! Overall, it was a great day filled with fun, relaxation, and successful fishing.
