You don’t have to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. 🤍

Sometimes, you’re doing everything you’re supposed to be doing. You’re working, taking care of responsibilities, maintaining relationships, and getting through your days.

From the outside, you’re doing well.

But maybe you’re also constantly overthinking. You have a hard time saying no without feeling guilty. You put a lot of pressure on yourself. You’re navigating changes in your relationships, career, family, or identity. Or maybe you’re simply tired of always being the person who holds everything together.

Therapy can be a space that’s just for you.

A place to slow down, understand yourself better, work through the things that have been weighing on you, and make changes that help life feel a little lighter.

I provide virtual therapy for women throughout Florida who are navigating anxiety, stress, relationship concerns, boundaries, self-esteem, perfectionism, and life transitions.

✨ Virtual sessions throughout Florida
✨ Major insurances accepted
✨ Self-pay options available

Currently accepting new clients.

Sometimes the things you criticize yourself for most...

aren't actually character flaws.

They're adaptations.

The tendency to overthink.
The need for reassurance.
The difficulty trusting others.
The urge to keep the peace, even when something doesn't feel right.

Many of these patterns develop for a reason.

At some point, they helped you navigate a situation, protect yourself, or make sense of an experience that felt overwhelming.

The problem is that what once helped you survive can continue showing up long after the situation has passed.

So instead of asking:

"What's wrong with me?"

Try asking:

👉 "What might this pattern have been trying to do for me?"

That shift—from judgment to curiosity—can be incredibly powerful.

Because healing doesn't begin when you become harder on yourself.

It begins when you start understanding yourself differently.

And sometimes the first step toward healing is realizing that the pattern isn't who you are—it's something you learned.

June is Trauma Awareness Month. ❤️‍🩹🫂

When people hear the word "trauma," they often think of a single major event.

But trauma isn't defined by the event itself—it's defined by how the experience was stored and processed.

Sometimes trauma looks like:
- constantly questioning yourself
- feeling responsible for everyone else's emotions
- struggling to trust people
- feeling anxious even when things are okay
- repeating patterns you don't fully understand

Many people carry the effects of trauma without realizing that's what they're experiencing.

They've become so used to coping, adapting, and pushing through that it simply feels like part of who they are.

One of the most powerful parts of healing is realizing:

The pattern is not your personality.

Often, it's an adaptation that once helped you survive.

This Trauma Awareness Month, my hope is that more people give themselves permission to look beneath the pattern with curiosity rather than judgment. đź’›

You don’t just “go with the flow”…

You adjust yourself to keep things okay.

You might:
- say yes when you really mean no
- avoid bringing things up to not “make it a big deal”
- focus on how the other person feels before considering yourself
- replay conversations wondering if you said too much or not enough

And from the outside, it can look like you’re easygoing.

But internally, it can feel like:
- holding things in
- overthinking
- feeling a little resentful or disconnected

This usually doesn’t come from nowhere.

It often comes from learning that keeping the peace, staying agreeable, or not needing too much… felt safer at some point.

So now, your system is just doing what it learned to do.

Part of healing isn’t becoming a completely different person—
It’s learning how to stay connected to yourself
even when you’re in relationship with others.

The hardest part about negative self-beliefs…
is that they don’t always sound negative.

They sound like:
“I’m probably overreacting”
“I shouldn’t feel this way”
“It’s not that big of a deal”
“I just need to be better about this”

And because they sound so reasonable…

you don’t question them.

You assume they’re true.

But over time, those thoughts start to shape:
how you see yourself
how you show up in relationships
what you tolerate
what you expect from others

A lot of these beliefs don’t come from nowhere.

They’re usually rooted in past experiences where you had to:
adjust yourself
minimize your needs
or make sense of things that didn’t feel right

So instead of asking:
“What’s wrong with me?”

A more helpful question might be:
👉 “Where did I learn to see myself this way?”

That’s often where things start to shift.

You don’t trust yourself…
as much as you think you should.

You might:
- go back and forth on decisions
- ask others for reassurance
- question if you’re “overreacting”
- second guess what you feel

And on the outside, it can look like overthinking.

But underneath it, it’s often this:
You’ve learned not to fully trust your own experience.

Maybe because:
your feelings were minimized
your needs weren’t consistently met
or you had to adjust yourself to keep things okay

So now, instead of feeling grounded in what you feel…
you look outward for clarity.

Part of healing is learning how to come back to yourself—
to trust what you feel, without immediately questioning it.

Not perfectly.

But more than you did before.

Hi đź’› I wanted to take a moment to reintroduce myself for anyone new here.

I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor based in South Florida, and I work primarily with women who feel stuck in patterns—especially in relationships.

A lot of the women I work with are actually very self-aware.
They’ve done the reflecting, they understand their triggers, and they can usually explain why they do what they do…

…but still find themselves:
overthinking
feeling anxious in relationships
questioning themselves
repeating patterns that don’t feel aligned

That’s where my work comes in.

I specialize in trauma-informed therapy, attachment work, and EMDR to help you move beyond just understanding your patterns and actually start to shift them at a deeper level.

If you’ve ever felt like:
“I know why I do this… so why is it still happening?”

You’re not alone—and you’re not doing anything wrong 💛

I currently offer virtual sessions across Florida.

If this resonates with you or someone you know, feel free to reach out or message me đź’›

If you’ve been feeling stuck lately, here are a few questions to gently ask yourself:

Do I feel like I’m constantly in my head, trying to figure everything out?
Do I notice similar patterns showing up in my relationships?
Do I understand why I do certain things, but still struggle to change them?
Do I second guess myself more than I trust myself?

If you answered yes to some of these…

It doesn’t mean you’re not self-aware.

And it doesn’t mean you’re not trying hard enough.

In fact, a lot of people who feel this way are very aware.

The missing piece usually isn’t more insight—
It’s having the space to process what’s under those patterns
so they can actually start to shift.

You don’t have to keep trying to think your way out of something that’s deeper than that 💛

You can be in a healthy relationship…
and still feel anxious.

You might catch yourself:
- overthinking small changes
- needing reassurance
- feeling uneasy when things shift
- questioning if everything is “okay”

And it can be confusing—because part of you knows:

“Nothing is actually wrong.”

But your body doesn’t always respond to logic.

A lot of these reactions aren’t about the relationship in front of you…
they’re connected to past experiences where things didn’t feel consistent, safe, or predictable.

So your system learned to stay alert.
To read into things.
To try to figure things out before something goes wrong.

Not because you’re “too much”…

But because your system is trying to protect you.

Part of healing is helping your body learn that it doesn’t have to stay in that state all the time.

And that takes more than just telling yourself to “calm down.”

If this resonates with you or someone you know, feel free to reach out đź’›

You don’t just “overthink”…

You try to make sense of everything.

You replay conversations.

You analyze what was said—and what wasn’t.
You try to read between the lines.

Not because you want to…

…but because part of you is trying to feel certain.

Trying to feel secure.

Trying to avoid getting hurt.

So your mind steps in and says:
“If I can just figure this out, I’ll feel better.”

But most of the time… it doesn’t actually bring relief.

It just keeps you stuck in the loop.

Because the need underneath it isn’t more information—
It’s feeling safe.

And that’s not something you can think your way into.

It’s something that gets built over time, especially in the way you experience relationships.

So if you find yourself constantly in your head…

It’s not that you’re doing something wrong 💛
There’s usually something deeper asking for your attention.
