Hey, Indians! 🤍

With only a couple of weeks until the pageant, I wanted to share something that has shaped my life and the person I am today.

Many of you may not know that I have bilateral hearing loss. Every day comes with challenges that most people never see, but one thing I've learned is that our challenges don't define us, our courage, perseverance, and determination do. Hearing loss is a part of my story, but it will never be the limit of my dreams.

I rely on lip reading and proudly wear my bright pink hearing aids every day. They aren't something I hide, they're a reminder of how far I've come and of the strength I've found through every obstacle.

None of this would have been possible without my wonderful team at Family Audiology Hearing Center and the incredible organization Chasing Greatness here in Ohio. Their generosity provided me with the hearing aids that have changed my life, and they continue to give hope to children and families navigating hearing loss. I will always be grateful for the opportunities they've given me, and I hope to use my voice to help bring awareness to the life-changing work they do.

As I step onto the pageant stage, I won't just be representing myself, I will be representing every person who has ever felt different, faced a challenge, or wondered if they were enough. I hope my journey reminds others that our greatest obstacles can become our greatest strengths, and that being different is something to be proud of.

As pageant week approaches, I simply ask for your patience and grace. If I don't hear you the first time or ask you to repeat yourself, please know it's not because I'm not listening, sometimes I just need a little extra help hearing the world around me.

Thank you for believing in me, supporting me, and walking beside me on this journey. I can't wait to represent our community with pride and show that true strength isn't measured by the challenges we face, but by the way we rise above them. 🤍💜
