What a wonderful Thursday! We kept things busy and fun with a few great games of Bingo, some creative crafting time together, and a very special visit from Terry Lakes!

Our residents are always amazed by Terry’s incredible ability to go back and forth between the piano and harmonica, and today was no exception! He treated everyone to some of their favorite country classics from Willie Nelson and Hank Williams, bringing plenty of smiles, memories, and toe-tapping fun to the afternoon.

We ended the day continuing our residents’ special goal of creating enough holiday cards for every holiday throughout the year to send to the children at Cook Children’s Hospital.

From Bingo and crafting to wonderful music and giving back, it was a busy, meaningful, and truly wonderful Thursday!

Fall Fun Is Just Around the Corner!
Our residents are continuing to get excited for all the fun Fall festivities ahead, and of course, those cooler temperatures that mean more time enjoying the outdoors! While we wait for the weather to cooperate, we kicked off the day with another festive Fall craft and plenty of creativity.

Next came a fun game of “Remember When?” giving everyone the chance to reminisce about some of the most meaningful and memorable parts of their pasts. It was also a wonderful opportunity for residents to get to know one another even better, with plenty of laughter along the way as stories and memories were shared!

We wrapped up the day with our walking group, making for a super busy but active and fun-filled day, full of laughter, creativity, connection, and wonderful memories made together!

What a busy but wonderful day!

We started the day with a meaningful Bible Study, followed by an active and energizing Sittersize class. Then we wrapped things up with our first Fall craft of the season! Everyone’s Autumn leaf mason jars turned out beautifully and were the perfect way to welcome one of the best seasons of the year!

A full day for sure, but certainly a wonderful day filled with fellowship, activity, creativity, and lots of fun!

A simpler Monday turned into a wonderful day of togetherness! We started with our weekly outing to Walmart to replenish a few much-needed items, then headed back to enjoy some great music and reminiscing about favorite song classics from the ’50s and ’60s.

Topped off with ice cream sandwiches and popsicles, it was the perfect way to stay out of the heat while enjoying good conversation, sweet treats, and even sweeter company!

What a wonderful Friday and perfect way to wrap up a great week!

We started the day getting crafty together, followed by a lively Barista & Cocktails Social filled with stories, laughter, and plenty of good conversation. Of course, no Friday would be complete without a few exciting rounds of Bingo!

Residents also received a very special visit from Bear, a service dog who was as sweet as could be despite his impressive size!

To top it all off, our residents looked absolutely fabulous in their bright and sparkly accessories for our Friday DISCO theme! It was a fun, festive, laughter-filled day and the perfect way to kick off the weekend ahead!

What a busy day—and one filled with so much fun and time together! We started with a wonderful Sittersize class, followed by some creative fun as a few residents made festive accessories to wear for Friday’s Disco theme.

Then came the best part of the day—a lunch outing to Yesterday’s 50’s Diner! From the delicious food to the fun, nostalgic decorations and festive atmosphere, it was a hit! It may have even become a new favorite for some of our residents!

All in all, it was a busy day with plenty of laughter, great company, and lots of fun shared along the way!

We stayed cool while keeping busy! The day started with a few great rounds of Bingo, followed by the best part of the day—welcoming one of our residents’ absolute favorite entertainers, Josh Lightfoot of the Lightfoot Family Band.

From singing wonderful country classics to playing guitar, banjo and harmonica, Josh had our residents amazed by his many talents as usual! There was plenty of clapping, stomping and singing along.

We wrapped up the day by getting creative and starting our Dream Catchers. A busy day, but definitely a fun one!

Busy days can be the best kind of days! We started with a wonderful Bible Study before jumping into one of our residents’ favorite activities—starting to make holiday cards for the kids at Cook Children’s Hospital. Starting early means we can send even more cards and hopefully bring a little extra joy to a child simply by reminding them that someone is thinking of them.

Then came a fun, slightly challenging craft complete with plenty of glitter! There may have been a sparkly mess, but there were also plenty of laughs and smiles along the way. A busy day, a messy table, and lots of happy hearts!

Monday was a nice, easy start to the week! Our residents enjoyed their weekly outing to pick up a few supplies, then settled in for some movie time with the first half of the suspenseful, Killers of the Flower Moon. A simple afternoon spent enjoying a little time together.
