📚 Back-to-school shoes matter more than you might think!

Did you know children can walk 2–5 miles each day while at school? That’s a lot of time on their feet!

👟 Before the school year starts:
✔️ Check that shoes still fit (kids’ feet grow quickly!)
✔️ Make sure there’s about a thumb’s width of space at the toe.
✔️ Replace shoes with worn-out soles or poor support.

Healthy feet help kids stay comfortable, active, and ready to learn all year long!

If your child is experiencing foot pain, frequent tripping, or has concerns like flat feet or ingrown toenails, we’re here to help. Happy Fun Fact Friday! 💙

As we head into July, a few hot weather things to consider!

🔥 Florida Heat + Bare Feet = A Painful Combination

Sidewalks, pool decks, and beach sand can become hot enough to burn your feet in just minutes.

Before stepping outside:
👟 Wear sandals or water shoes on hot surfaces.
🌡️ Test pavement with your hand if you’re unsure.
🩹 If you have diabetes or decreased sensation in your feet, be especially cautious—you may not feel a burn until damage has already occurred.

Protect your feet so you can enjoy every summer adventure safely!
