Xylen’s Story

Dorothy’s Story

Dorothy struggled almost immediately after birth.

By the second night home, she would only sleep in 30-minute stretches, waking up crying like she was in pain. 😢 Night after night, it didn’t improve. We were beyond exhausted and knew deep down this wasn’t normal behavior for a newborn just days old.
Trying to figure it out was overwhelming and exhausting.
All we wanted was for our baby to be comfortable and happy—but running on almost no sleep made everything harder.
We didn’t try much else before coming in.
I already knew about chiropractic care from personal experience and had even had our older daughter adjusted as a newborn. After a few nights of Dorothy screaming, I trusted my gut and reached out to Dr. Stephen.
Because she was so young, we didn’t do scans—but her body told the story.
The shift happened immediately.
After her very first adjustment, Dorothy took a great nap. That evening was calmer, and over the next two days she had multiple bowel movements—I couldn’t believe the difference! 💩🙌 She seemed happier and more settled, and those intense nights started to ease.
We stayed consistent with weekly care that first month as symptoms came and went, and each adjustment brought her relief.
Now? Dorothy is 20 months old and thriving. 💕
She’s growing, developing, and loving life just as she should. We continue biweekly adjustments for her and our other two daughters to support their growing bodies—and she loves coming into the office and getting adjusted.
Sometimes it’s not about waiting it out.
It’s about listening to your mom gut—and giving your child’s nervous system the support it needs to thrive. 🌿✨
