The Plastic Audit finale: my kitchen 👩🏻‍🍳

I knew that I had a lot of existing plastic in my kitchen, but I’d never counted it before this. I’m not going to swap everything immediately, because a lot of what I have is still usable and in good condition - and I think using what we already have is one of the key pillars to an earth-friendly lifestyle.

Every time I talk to someone in big beauty, they say, “So you do sticks??”

While yes, technically all of our lotion bars, face balms and heel & foot balms are sticks - sticks just sound so boring and flat. I’d rather describe the function of each formula so you, the actual person using our products, knows what to expect!

Same aisle at the store, completely different bottles.

While most big beauty brands still use plastic bottles, we use a 95% bio-based bottle made from upcycled bamboo. Our face oil and cleansing oil bottles are industrially compostable and can be used with tabletop compost machines.
