Today is National Fentanyl Awareness Day, a time to raise awareness about the dangers of fentanyl and the devastating impact it continues to have on individuals, families, and communities across our country. Fentanyl is a synthetic opioid that is up to 50 times stronger than he**in and 100 times stronger than morphine. Even a very small amount can be life threatening, especially when it is unknowingly mixed into other substances. Because fentanyl is often found in counterfeit pills and other illicit drugs, many people are exposed without realizing it. Awareness has the power to save lives. Understanding the risks, recognizing the signs of an overdose, carrying naloxone, and knowing where to turn for help can make a meaningful difference. Recovery is possible, and no one has to face opioid use disorder alone. At Mile High Treatment & Recovery, we are committed to providing compassionate, evidence based care and supporting individuals on their journey toward a healthier future.
Together, through education, prevention, and treatment, we can help save lives and strengthen our community.
Let us lead you to a successful recovery! π
