Another year. Happy 29th birthday in Heaven, my sweet Brianna.

It’s so difficult to say that number. I still don’t have the words to understand how you were 12, and now you would have been 29.

Today we celebrate the day you were born, the day I became your mom. I couldn’t imagine not being your mom, and I am so grateful for the 12 years I got to spend with you.

Today, I will celebrate you. My heart will hurt, but I know I will also smile and feel joy because I got to be part of your life, and you will always be part of mine.

I miss you so much, my sweet girl. I’m sure you’re having a huge party up in heaven.

I love you always.

I’m honored to share that I have been nominated for the 2026 Global The Mental Health Awards, hosted by Tick Accreditation, in recognition of my personal story and the positive impact I’ve had on others.

Meghan Sevcik, thank you for nominating me.

Sharing our family’s story and creating spaces where people know they are not alone have become such meaningful parts of my life. To have that recognized is something I’m deeply grateful for.

I’ll be joining the awards ceremony online on October 8. Whatever the outcome, being nominated is an honor in itself.

Thank you to everyone who has supported our story and helped me continue sharing hope.

A heartfelt thank-you to everyone who came out and shared their time and talents with us at Ride for Hope on September 19!

Thank you to Churro Bus, Whipped Specialty Cupcakes, Rebel Prism, Off the Edge Company, Pour More, Chris and Cheryl with the Dixon shirts, Rider Justice, Los Pinches Hot Dogs, Nicole with her freeze-dried candy, the Christian Riders Group, We Be Making Lemonade, Spot On Therapy, and Rachel with The Money Maven. And thank you to DJ Chris for bringing the music!

As I continue reflecting on this incredible weekend, I want to give a huge round of applause to our registration team!

Although Danielle has volunteered with Ride for Hope before, this was her first year taking the lead at registration, and she did a wonderful job. Alongside Karen and Letha, she welcomed and took care of more than 100 participants as they came through to register.

Registration is one of the busiest and most important parts of the morning, and these ladies handled it beautifully. Danielle, Karen and Letha, thank you for your hard work, your patience, and for making everyone feel welcomed from the moment they arrived. We appreciate you!

As I continue reflecting on this incredible weekend, I want to give a very special thank-you to the entire Sun Harley-Davidson family.

Your support goes far beyond providing a location, you have shown genuine passion for the vision of Ride for Hope and the mission behind it. To Mark, Brandon, the entire staff working behind the scenes, and everyone who helped set up and pull this event together: please know how deeply grateful I am for each of you.

My heart is so full. I cannot wait to see how Ride for Hope continues to grow, where this next journey takes us, and what our continued relationship with Sun Harley-Davidson will bring.

As I continue reflecting on the 13th Annual Ride For Hope, my heart is filled with gratitude.

To every person who registered, donated, placed a silent-auction bid, made a purchase, shared our event, volunteered, or simply showed up, this is what you helped make possible.

Together, we raised $3,969.80. After $603.07 in event expenses, our net proceeds are $3,366.73.

Because of your support, we can continue building and supporting meaningful work within our community:

Brianna’s Light — a new post-crisis support program launching in 2027.

Adrian’s Dream — Gabriela’s initiative honoring her son Adrian through backpacks and school supplies for local students.

Community Outreach — future opportunities for Ride for Hope to serve others through Community, Connection, and Service.

This is more than a number. This is what happens when a community comes together with love, purpose, and hope.

Thank you for helping us carry hope beyond the ride. This is only the beginning of what comes next. 🧡

A very special thank-you to Moon!

I have honestly lost count of how many years Moon has taken charge of the Ride for Hope silent auction, and this lady is an absolute beast! She does it all, works her tail off, and brings so much passion not only to this mission, but to everything she touches.

Moon, I appreciate and love you so much. Thank you for all you do for Ride for Hope, for me as a friend, and for everyone fortunate enough to cross paths with you. You are truly, truly a gift. 🧡
