You can only see so far as your imagination will take you.

We’ve lost heart, and with it, our vision for what’s possible — for who we can become - for what the world can be.

Interestingly, the Greek word often translated as ‘sin’ is more accurately understood as ‘wounded vision’.

Not faults and failings.
But the loss of clear sight; the loss of hope and thus the life built around that loss.

When hope fades, our perspective bends. Things become skewed. We interpret life through old wounds, and without realizing it, we respond in ways that continue our suffering and limit what’s possible.

As a result our lives shrink and the world becomes a dark place.

The key is healing. the bridge: awakening heart and imagination.
We do this by dreaming again. By listening to our intuition. An intuition grounded in a body that is alive with hope and purpose. Otherwise we settle for far too less or get lost in fantasy and therefore we stop truly living.

The invitation is to heal the heart.
To listen inward.
To trust yourself again.

To let your imagination guide your choices and actions

When you do, something returns:
a spark of life, a vital pulse, the energy that makes things worth living for.

Your vision clears.
The world opens.
And life becomes what it has always been — a wild, imperfect journey in which you still get to choose.

If you’ve lost heart or your dreams feel distant, there is a way back.

Let yourself imagine again. And watch how far you begin to see.

Healthy Masculinity Summit | June 13

In a world of isolation, burnout, and broken models of what it means to be a man—what if we chose something deeper?

On June 13, I’ll be speaking at the Healthy Masculinity Summit, a free, one-day event gathering bestselling authors, thought leaders, and heart-forward men and women who are actively shaping the future.

I’ll be joining an advanced panel on the evolution of masculinity, where we’ll dive into:
• The unconscious myths men live by (and die by)
• How masculinity must evolve to meet the moment
• What’s required to heal, reimagine, and reclaim a soul-rooted path for men

This summit isn’t just about ideas—it’s a movement toward embodied maturity, deep connection, and grounded purpose.

If you’re ready to explore a more honest, liberated, and loving vision of masculinity—this is for you.

✨ Free to attend. A space for growth, challenge, and deep remembering.

The World Isn’t depriving you—Your agreement with you wounds is…

Scarcity is a clever trickster. It convinces us that life is a battlefield, that we must fight for love, compete for success, and guard our fragile sense of self at all costs. Under its spell, we believe there’s never enough—of time, of resources, of worthiness. And so, we hustle, protect, and push… while silently exhausting our souls.

But here’s the hard truth:
No amount of fighting the world will make you feel more worthy.
No amount of rearranging life’s chessboard will bring the peace you’re after.

The only antidote to scarcity is to root deeper into who you already are.

When you stop trying to fix life and instead feel it…
When you stop running and start resting in the fullness of this moment…
You’ll discover that the well you’ve been thirsting for isn’t out there—it’s within you.

If you feel stuck in the exhausting cycle of “not enough,” it’s time to step out of the small, noisy world that scarcity built and into the vastness of the real one.

Go outside. Breathe in the wild air. Notice how nature isn’t in a rush.
The earth knows abundance. And so do you—if you’re willing to remember.

Your birthright is wholeness. Your path is presence.

If this speaks to you, and you’re ready to reconnect with your deeper self, I’d be honored to walk alongside you. Reach out and let’s begin the journey.

What if your beliefs are now keeping you small?

So often, the things we cling to—our beliefs, identities, routines, even our spiritual systems—are less about truth and more about survival.

They’re attempts to make the vastness of life feel more manageable.
We carve the infinite into bite-sized certainties, and in doing so, we trade mystery for control.
But control has a cost: our aliveness, our wonder, our capacity to grow.

About a year ago, my grandmother passed away.
She was a woman of deep faith. And in her younger years, that faith connected her to something luminous—something larger than herself.

But as time went on, I watched her faith shrink her.
What once opened her to the world began to close her off from it.
Her beliefs became limitations.
What had once been a doorway became a wall.

This is something I see often with clients.
The very things we trust to help us cope can become the cages we live inside.

Sometimes it’s a religion.
Sometimes a routine, a political identity, an academic lens.
Sometimes it’s the way we’ve been taught to measure our worth.

We mistake these structures for meaning. But often, they’re just containers for our fear.

True healing isn’t about becoming more certain.
It’s about becoming more open—more willing to live with mystery. More able to stand in awe.

So consider this:

Where are your beliefs reinforcing smallness?
Where have you confused control for clarity?
And what might happen if you let the walls fall, even just a little?

Most of us forget: we’re not just seeing the world — we’re seeing it through something.
A story. A scar. A bias. A belief we didn’t know we inherited.

And if the lens is smudged by past wounds, fear, or overexposure to noise — no amount of fixing “out there” will bring clarity “in here.”

As Mark Nepo reminds us, perhaps mindfulness, art, and real relationships are forms of internal window washing.
We clean the lens not to escape life — but to see it again.
To remember the beauty that’s always been there.

So today, before rushing to fix, blame, or critique…
Pause.
Ask yourself: Is what I’m looking at broken, or is it my lens that needs clearing?

And in that pause, you may just see the world — and yourself — more clearly.

Over the past decade, I've had the privilege of leading various groups, witnessing many men transform their lives and discover new purpose. A clear need emerged for a consistent, accessible space for men to delve deeper together. In response, I'm merging some of my closed groups into one open, regular gathering. As a therapist, yoga teacher, and simply as a man trying his best, I’ve seen that as the Buddhist instruct, life is full of suffering, or rather, that life is suffering.

A long time ago, the mode of thinking and being as espoused by philosophers and spiritual thinkers (pre-‘psychology’) was that of Virtue: to live and be guided by a virtuous life.

Somewhere along the way we’ve lost that concept or rather traded it for the pursuit of ‘happiness’ or peak experiences.

It’s much easier to chase after things that give pleasure than it is to build a substantially meaningful life: A life that aims at something greater than what you could imagine.

We need help to find our true path.
We need grit to discover within ourselves the ability to grasp something more significant and deeper.

It’s possible to be able to look back on our lives and see something fulfilling and something we are proud of...

Sadly, we all too easily trade genuine pride in ourselves for mere comfort or pleasure?

A great challenge that we all face is what we will do with ourselves.

Will we accept the responsibility to become the highest possible version of ourselves no matter what the cost?

Your first and greatest victory will always be that of learning how to see yourself for all that you are.

There are many opportunities and roadblocks on the road to becoming yet if you take the chance to find yourself, to awaken, and to do something different, I guarantee you that all the effort involved will work together to create in you something you never dreamed possible in the best way!

⁣
Many of us struggle with feelings of loneliness. We fulfill our duties and engage with others, yet at the end of the week, we often feel painfully alone. What’s really going on here? Are we truly alone, or have we not learned to harness the power of solitude and cultivate a deep connection with ourselves?⁣
⁣
Loneliness is an epidemic in our tech-heavy world, just as the loss of healthy solitude is. Healthy solitude fuels personal significance and joy, allowing us to appreciate our vastness and the beauty of the natural world.⁣
⁣
From a young age, we’re conditioned to believe that our worth lies outside ourselves. We learn that to belong, we must earn the approval of others, leading us to feel deficient within. This conditioning pulls us away from the deep well of joy and truth inside us.⁣
⁣
As we mature, we mistakenly view solitude as negative. For introverts, this belief can deepen, making us think our need for solitude is the reason for our lack of significant connections. In a world that values extroverted activity, many social engagements feel shallow—busy and pleasure-oriented.⁣
⁣
Where can we find the depth of connection that truly fuels us? I believe the loneliness we experience is actually a problem of solitude. We become unequipped to be with ourselves and the natural world, avoiding solitude to our own peril, which leaves us yearning for fulfillment and disconnects us from others.⁣
⁣
Solitude is a marker of maturity. By embracing it, we unlock more of ourselves and others. When we slow down the noise around us, we create space for genuine connection.⁣
⁣
If you’ve struggled with loneliness and are unsure how to cultivate space within yourself, it may be time to explore this process. If you’re ready to break free from the conditioning that makes you feel ashamed about your connections—or lack thereof—let’s work together to help you thrive.⁣
