The Autumn Equinox arrives this week, which means Wildwood Cottage is beginning its shift into a new season.

As the seasons change, so will the scents, fragrances and small details throughout the studio. But the purpose of the massage stays the same: helping you feel better.

Whether you’re dealing with a stiff neck, sore back, tight shoulders, tired legs, repetitive-use tension, or just the wear and tear that comes from long days, your massage is tailored to what your body needs. I believe therapeutic work and relaxation can go together.

There are also no upcharges for the extras I use during your massage. If something I have can benefit what we’re working on, it’s simply part of your session.

Our private Yin & Restorative Yoga will follow the seasons as well. Going into autumn, we’ll focus on mobility, grounding, balance, recovery and slowing things down.

Wildwood Cottage is a small, private studio located off Graybow in DeRidder, open by appointment only.

Wildwood Cottage is officially open! 🌲

After a lot of work, planning and dreaming, I’m so excited to finally welcome clients into the Cottage!

For those who don’t know me, I’m Tori. I’ve been a massage therapist for 16+ years, and after nearly 17 years of our family moving around with the Army, we’re very happy to finally be putting down roots here and becoming part of this community.

Wildwood Cottage is a small, private massage studio located off Graybow. I work by appointment only and keep limited availability each week so every session can be personal and unrushed.

My massage style is a balance of therapeutic work and relaxation. I love working on aches, tight muscles and stubborn tension, but I also believe relaxation is an important part of therapeutic work. When the nervous system can settle, the body is often much more willing to let us work on the areas that need it.

Sessions are customized to you and may include cupping, scraping, hot stones, aromatherapy, hot towels, cold therapy and more—with no upcharges. If it benefits your session, it’s simply part of your massage.

🍂 The Cottage will change with the seasons, too, with different scents, aromatherapy, seasonal touches and areas of focus throughout the year.

🧘 I’m also offering private Yin & Restorative Yoga as an add-on to your massage appointment. These are slow, gentle practices that can help calm the nervous system, improve mobility and begin releasing tension before your massage. No yoga experience or flexibility required.

As things settle down, I’ll also be looking at adding very small yoga sessions and crystal sound bowl sessions in the near future. I want to keep everything at Wildwood Cottage small, personal and intentional.

Appointments can be booked directly through my website put below, and please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or aren’t sure which service would be right for you.

I’m so excited to finally open the doors and share Wildwood Cottage with our community.

A little update from Wildwood Cottage 🌿

I’m putting the finishing touches on the new studio, preparing the website, and wrapping up the last of my licensing paperwork this week!

To my regular clients: if you’d like to get on my schedule at the new studio, please message me within the next couple of days. I’ll be opening my remaining appointments to everyone next week.

I’m so grateful to everyone who has followed me from my little home studio on Fort Polk, to the gym, and now to my very own cottage here in DeRidder. 🤎

Once we’re settled in, I’ll also be introducing private yoga and crystal sound bowl sessions.

I can’t wait to welcome you into the new space. 🌲✨

Sneak peek of the new studio ✨

Please excuse the mess — we are officially in the “everything is everywhere because we’re almost finished” stage. 😂

We’re installing some of the ceiling today, and I seriously cannot wait to see this whole space finally come together. It has been a LOT of work getting here, but it’s finally starting to feel like the studio I’ve had in my head this entire time.

If everything goes as planned, I’m hoping to have the ceiling completely finished and share a video of the finished space by the end of the week. Then finish the process of opening up! 🖤

Almost there!

Today is my last day as Wildwood Massage Therapy at Fort Polk.

Over the past couple years, I’ve had the privilege of caring for so many incredible people, and I’ll always be grateful for every conversation, every client, and every bit of support you’ve shown me. Thank you for allowing me to be a small part of your wellness journey.

As one chapter comes to a close, another quietly begins.

Wildwood Cottage will be opening soon—a slower, more intentional space inspired by the rhythm of the seasons, nature, and simple moments of restoration. I’ll still be caring for my wonderful massage clients with our therapeutic work, but you’ll also begin to see Wildwood grow into something that’s been on my heart for a long time.

Keep following along as I’ll be sharing more updates soon—the new studio is coming together, and I’m so excited to show you what’s ahead.

Thank you for being here. I can’t wait to welcome you into this next season. 🌿

✨ Endings & New Beginnings ✨

After an amazing year at Fort Polk, I have made the decision to close that location and move my business to DeRidder.

I am so thankful for the opportunity I’ve had over the past year and for all of the amazing clients who have supported me along the way. While this wasn’t an easy decision, I’m excited for this next chapter and for the ability to have full control of my schedule, payments, and overall client experience again.

The move also comes with some exciting changes! I’ll be offering some new services and opportunities that I can’t wait to share with everyone once everything is finalized.

I will continue taking appointments through the end of June and throughout July. After that, I’ll be getting settled into the new space and planning for a Grand Reopening at the beginning of September!

One thing I’m especially excited about is that clients will be able to book directly through my website in the future, and I’ll have more appointment availability in the new location as well.

I think I’ve talked with most of my regular clients already, but just in case I haven’t had the chance to discuss it with you yet, I’ll go over the plan moving forward at your next appointment.

Thank you all for your support, trust, and loyalty. I’m excited for what’s ahead and can’t wait to welcome everyone to the new DeRidder location! ❤️

Hey everyone! I know I’ve cut back my massage hours a little this summer so I can spend more time hanging out with my family and work through the gym’s transition to 24-hour access. Once school starts back, I’ll be back in full swing with more availability again!

For all current and future clients, please make sure you go register with WheelLock. With the new 24-hour access, the front doors will now require you to scan in during non-staffed hours, and some of my appointments will be before staff is there.

I’m currently fully booked through July, so if you already have appointments scheduled, please make sure you get registered ahead of time so there are no issues getting into the building for your appointment.

Thank y’all so much for your patience and support! I truly appreciate every one of you ❤️
