It’s about to be a HOT week here! Don’t forget, babies and children - and pets, should never be left in a vehicle even for a minute. With these high temps, it doesn’t take long for a car to heat up to life-threatening temps.

We’re about to enter a stretch of very hot temperatures, making this an important reminder from the Hannah Geneser Learning Center and Safety Store:

Look before you lock.

On an 80° day, the inside of a parked car can reach 109° in just 20 minutes, and a child’s body temperature can rise 3 to 5 times faster than an adult’s.
