Ever wondered what sparked the vision behind The Sisters’ Couch?

Turn the volume up and come hear the story behind the vision and what’s coming in June 2026 .

It’s Grad Season and of course we could not let the season pass without shouting out our intern,

You did it! You are a mama, a student, and a leader and you graduated with honors! Your dedication, resilience, and hard work have been inspiring to witness.

Congratulations!

May is Mental Health Awareness Month and there is still so much healing work to do for Black women. Too often we carry everything quietly while still showing up for everybody else.

That’s why we created Let’s Talk About Black Women & Mental Health inside the new Sisters’ Couch Healing Hub. A soft space to have honest conversations, connect with community, meet therapists from our directory, and pour back into yourself.

We only have 9 tickets left and once they’re gone, they’re gone.

Join us on Wednesday, May 27 from 6PM–8PM for an evening of conversation, reflection, self care, and community.

Violeta, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified EMDR Therapist, is joining us for a powerful, real conversation on healing. Her work sits at the intersection of social justice and mental health, supporting BIPOC communities through complex trauma, PTSD, perinatal mood disorders, and racial stress. She helps people come back home to their bodies and their sense of safety. This conversation is about to be deep, honest, and needed.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and it’s a reminder that our mental health deserves care too.

🌸1 in 5 Black women experience a mental health condition each year, yet many of us are still less likely to seek support. Not because we don’t need help, but because of stigma, survival mode, and the pressure to stay "strong".

🌸Join us this May for our FIRST EVENT at the healing hub, “Let’s Talk About Black Women & Mental Health” as we create space for honest conversation, healing, and community.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month… and we’re doing it the Sisters’ Couch way.

Join us for Let’s Talk About Black Women and Mental Health — our signature event and our very first gathering inside The Sisters’ Couch Healing Hub.

Wednesday, May 27th
6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
The Sisters' Couch

This is more than a conversation.
This is a hands-on experience.

We’re breaking down what mental health really looks like for Black women — led by licensed professionals and women with real, lived experience. You’ll also take part in a mental health assessment and a guided self-care activity you can actually carry with you beyond the room.

Your ticket includes entry, workshop materials, and light refreshments.

Tickets are limited… and you already know how we do.
