(Most) individuals with thoughts of su***de do not want to die. Rather, they want relief from the emotional pain from which they suffer. The ultimate tragedy of su***de is that (most) of these deaths are preventable, if the individual or families knew the resources in their area.
If someone confines in you about their struggles of not wanting to be here anymore. Please reach out and tell someone that can help them if you can't. There's always someone out there that can help!! Do not let them suffer in silence, you do not want them to make that harsh decision and you be the only person they told. Rather them be mad at you for a little while then attend their funeral to say your last goodbyes.
The signs are not always black and white and we know that!! Just keep an eye out and an open heart! If you are struggling there is always help out there and people that are willing to listen! We would always make time to listen to your story and struggles, rather than hear of another su***de.
If you have lost someone to su***de and are struggling yourself, there are support groups, grief counseling, and people that have been where you are that are ready and willing to help you navigate through this difficult time.

We will push and advocate for youth su***de until our last breath. In hopes we can make a difference and help other children that are suffering in silence. Everyone story is different And we are here to listen. If Sharon Natalie's story can help just 1 child or parent/guardian it's well worth it!!
