Teachers, summer is your reminder that you are more than lesson plans, meetings, and to-do lists.

You are a whole person who deserves rest, reflection, joy, and care.

As you flip through the pages of the Teacher Self-Care Journal, you’ll find opportunities to slow down, celebrate your growth, practice gratitude, and intentionally invest in your well-being.

Because self-care isn’t a reward for getting everything done—it’s a necessity for showing up as your best self.

This summer, choose you. 💜

🌸 Teachers often think boundaries are something they have to figure out once the school year starts. The truth?

Boundaries are built in the small choices you make every day.
This summer, give yourself permission to protect your time, energy, and peace without guilt. The more you practice choosing yourself now, the more natural it becomes when the demands of the classroom return.

The Teacher Self-Care Journal was created to help you reflect, reset, and build sustainable self-care habits that last beyond summer break. 💛

✨ What’s one thing you’re protecting your peace from this summer? Share it in the comments.

Lately, I’ve been reminding myself that growth doesn’t always look the way we expect it to.

Sometimes we’re so focused on how far we still have to go that we forget to recognize how far we’ve already come.

As I build my business, pursue big goals, and trust the process, I’m learning that not every season is for harvesting. Some seasons are for planting. Some are for watering. And some are simply for believing that growth is happening beneath the surface.

I know many teachers and teacher leaders can relate. We spend so much time working toward the next goal that we rarely pause to celebrate the small wins along the way.

✨ Today’s challenge: Write down 3 small wins from this summer.
They don’t have to be big. Every step forward counts.

💜 Share one small win you’re celebrating in the comments. Let’s cheer each other on.

Before you start thinking about lesson plans, classroom setup, or the next school year, take a moment to ask yourself:

✨ What do I need to let go of from last school year?

Spend a few minutes today writing it out and giving yourself permission to release it.

🌸 Another summer self-care reminder for my Petals Pros: move your body! It doesn’t have to be long or intense. Focus on consistency, not perfection. Start building the habits now that will support you when the school year begins. 💛

Summer doesn’t have to be another season of doing more.

Before you start planning, prepping, and thinking about the next school year, ask yourself this: Have I given myself time to rest?

You don’t have to earn a break. You don’t have to be productive every minute of the day.

This summer, make yourself a priority, too. 🌸

POV: This school year, we’re protecting teacher peace BEFORE burnout happens. 🌸✨

Research shows even 5 minutes of reflective writing can help lower stress — which is why your midday reset matters more than you think. 💛

The Teacher Self-Care Journal was created to help teachers build realistic self-care habits during the school day, not just after burnout hits.
