🌿 Wellness Wednesdays
You don’t have to wait until you’re exhausted to accept help.
Caregivers often become very good at saying:
“I’ve got it.”
“We’re okay.”
“It’s not that bad yet.”
“I can handle one more thing.”
And maybe you can.
But accepting help isn’t only for the moment when you can’t do it anymore.
💚 Let someone bring dinner.
💚 Say yes when someone offers to sit with your loved one.
💚 Ask a family member to handle an appointment or errand.
💚 Use respite services before you’re desperate for a break.
💚 Tell someone when you’re having a hard day.
Caregiver wellness isn’t about proving how much you can carry.
It’s about building enough support around you that you don’t have to carry everything alone.
🌿 This week’s reminder: You don’t need to earn rest by reaching exhaustion first.
