National Sunglasses Day is a commemorative day celebrating the importance of wearing ultraviolet (UV)-protective sunwear and eyewear. UV damage is cumulative, occurring over a lifetime of exposure. Children are extra vulnerable, so get them in the habit of wearing sunglasses early!
