So excited that Ecolibrium3 was one of the 750 grantees selected to receive a 2026 AARP Community Challenge grant from AARP Livable Communities and AARP MN to continue to build on our collective work to make Duluth a better place to live for all ages and stages of life!

We’re excited to share that we are one of 750 grantees selected to receive a 2026 AARP Community Challenge grant from AARP Livable Communities and AARP MN! Building on our foundational work with , we’re incredibly proud to receive this investment to advance our Age-Friendly efforts and make Duluth a better place to live for all ages, abilities and backgrounds.

With this grant, Eco3 will offer hands-on technology classes for older adults using curriculum from the AARP-backed Senior Planet program at our LNPK Community Hub! We will recruit a cohort of Digital Navigator volunteers to deliver classes, prioritizing volunteers 50 and older to serve as peer mentors. We will offer a series of structured workshops ranging from computer basics to telehealth navigation, to social connection in a digital world. Over the last four weeks, we’ve celebrated lifelong learning and the incredible age-friendly partners working alongside us to make Duluth a better place to live, grow, and learn at every age.

From Ecolibrium3's Urban Farm workshops and endless resources at the Duluth Public Library to higher education opportunities through the University of Minnesota Duluth, The College of St. Scholastica, and Lake Superior College, trainings offered by Arrowhead Area Agency on Aging, learning opportunities through St. Louis County MN Public Health, and creative classes through Zeitgeist Duluth—it's clear that a community that LEARNS together GROWS together.

Thank you to every age-friendly partner, lifelong learner, and community member for their commitment to learning for life!
