New episode tomorrow! My main job on the podcast is making extreme facial expressions so clips are more fun to watch. Also, write this tip down like I did ✍🏼

Any guesses what debate Sara is talking about? Not looking at you Stewart 🫣😜

IYKYK

Some debates never die. Some friendships survive them. Some comment sections absolutely do not. ☠️

Meanwhile, Sara somehow admitted she hasn’t finished Gilmore Girls, and Kali firmly decided Sara has committed a federal offense.
So now we have two questions:

📚 Which debate do you think we’re talking about?
☕ And… Team Logan, Team Jess, or Team Dean?

Drop your guesses (and your hot takes) below. Just remember… we’re all friends here. Mostly. 😉

Oh you guys. We had some fun with this one! As Kali and I recorded this, I kept thinking about our grandmas (who were earthly cousin-best friends) and how they were surely giggling in heaven and so damn proud of us for taking a chance at ruffling a few feathers. 😂😂

“Romance novels are having a major moment—but are they really just about the spice?
This week, we're diving into the world of romance novels (yes, the s**t!) and asking why millions of women can't get enough. We talk about the stereotypes surrounding romance readers, why these books have exploded in popularity, and what women are actually looking for when they reach for a happily-ever-after.
Is it escapism? Emotional connection? Stress relief? A reminder of what it feels like to be desired? Or is it simply a fun way to unwind after a long day?
Whether you're a devoted romance reader, secretly hiding a Kindle full of spicy books, or you've never understood the hype, this conversation might surprise you.
As always, we're approaching the topic with curiosity, honesty, and plenty of laughs.
🎙️ Grab your headphones—and maybe don't judge a book by its cover.”

Dropping Tomorrow! After a brief hiatus, we bring you: Romance novels and why so many women are reading them. Is it because the men are emotionally available? Let’s discuss👇🏼

Sara here and I have a question!

Who here is bad with Hollywood? Like if you say a name of an actor I have no ever-loving clue who you are talking about unless you show me a picture and also name five things they were in.

Kali’s response when I told her and Lindsay (our third sister in Christ who we are still trying to bully into being on the pod because YOU WILL ALL LOVE HER THE MOST) that I have absolutely no idea who is Larry David.

Sorry, man. I read books. 🤷‍♀️

Hey Friends, Sara here. ☕️

I’m currently reading Mating in Captivity by Esther Perel as I continue expanding my couples therapy skills, and wow… I am absolutely devouring her wisdom.

While reading, she referenced a quote from another author that has been rattling around in my brain ever since:

💎 “We bitch about our difficulties along the rough surface of our path, we curse every sharp stone underneath, until at some point in our maturation, we finally look down to see that they are diamonds.”

I’ve been chewing on this because, if I’m being completely honest, I don’t know many people who immediately recognize the value of a difficult season while they’re living it. Self included.

Most of us spend our time trying to get rid of the sharp stones.

The heartbreak.
The anxiety.
The disappointment.
The uncertainty.
The mistakes.
The failures.

And understandably so. Those things cut, man.

When I look back on my own life, many of the qualities I value most about myself weren’t developed during the easy chapters.

They were developed because of the really freaking difficult one.

Not because suffering is somehow magical. NoThankYou.
Not because I would choose those experiences again. Many I sure would NOT.

But because they taught me things comfort and ease never could.

The stone wasn’t the gift.

The diamond was the person I became carrying it.

So now I’m curious…

What’s one “sharp stone” in your life that eventually revealed itself to be a diamond? 💎
