This Memorial Day, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their courage, sacrifice, and legacy live on in the freedoms we hold today.

At Unity Hospice, we are especially mindful of the veterans and military families we have the privilege of serving. We remember not only their service, but the stories, love, and lives behind each sacrifice.

At Unity Hospice, we’re reminded every day that caring for someone means caring for the whole person...body, mind, and heart.

Mental health doesn’t disappear at the end of life. In many ways, it becomes even more important...showing up as anxiety, reflection, peace, fear, gratitude, or simply the need to be heard.

Sometimes the most meaningful support we can offer isn’t fixing anything… it’s sitting with someone, listening, and letting them know they’re not alone.

This month is a reminder to check in - with ourselves and with each other. A simple “How are you, really?” can go a long way.
