Jennifer Mary Elizabeth Putzi, MA, LCMHC-A

Jennifer is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHC-A) who brings a depth of professional expertise in trauma, anxiety, and nervous system regulation to her clinical work. She holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and is trained in somatic and integrative approaches that center the mind-body connection within the therapeutic process.

Jennifer specializes in supporting adults navigating anxiety disorders, attachment and relational patterns, and the lingering effects of trauma and high stress physiology. She integrates evidence-based practices with a somatically informed lens to help clients build resilience, enhance emotional regulation, and foster lasting change.

Prior to entering clinical practice, Jennifer spent over a decade as a business owner and wellness professional, where she developed and implemented a trauma-informed strength-based coaching model for women coping with stress, life transitions, and chronic self-regulation challenges. This professional experience informs her pragmatic and strengths-oriented therapeutic style. Jennifer’s approach is collaborative, grounded, and client-centered. She works with individuals to identify patterns, expand coping resources, and cultivate a greater sense of safety and agency across relationships, performance contexts, and everyday life.

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who joined us for the SIP Clinic NC The Chamber for a Greater Chapel Hill-Carrboro ribbon cutting and open house. Seeing our community show up in support of mental health care was deeply meaningful.

SIP Clinic NC was built with the belief that nervous system-informed, compassionate psychotherapy should be accessible, respected, and rooted in real community care. This milestone isn’t just about opening doors — it’s about expanding conversations around mental health and creating spaces where healing is possible.

Thank you to the Chamber, our colleagues, friends, partners, and neighbors for celebrating with us and for supporting mental health in our community. We’re honored to do this work alongside you.

📣 Community Colleagues,
We are hosting a ribbon cutting with the The Chamber for a Greater Chapel Hill-Carrboro this week for our newest venture, the Somatic Integrative Psychotherapy Clinic of NC.

At the SIP Clinic NC we offer services virtually across the State of NC and in person in Durham & N. Raleigh. We provide somatic psychotherapy services and parenting coaching specializing in the treatment of trauma, high stress and anxiety for adults and couples. Our "doors" opened this past June and we are partnering with the local Chamber for this lovely announcement and community ceremony!

As some of you know, my husband Patrick and I started the first trauma clinic in the State of NC back in 2015. We exited our company in early 2020 (2 weeks before covid hit!). Having moved into the consulting space the last 6 years, we continuously get referrals for psychotherapy and there is still a need in our community for seasoned mental health support. Time to help more people!
