For a little while, our East Brewton ballplayers are trading…

⚾️🥎 Baseball & softball fields for football fields and sidelines
🧤 Gloves and bats for pads, helmets, bows & pom-poms
👟 Cleats in the clay for cleats on the grass
🟤 Clay-covered pants for grass-stained jerseys
💨 Stealing bases for breaking tackles
📣 Dugout cheers for sideline cheers
💪 And chasing runs for chasing touchdowns!

To all of our East Brewton Cal Ripken baseball and softball players taking the field and sidelines this fall:

Play hard. Cheer loud. Be coachable. Be a great teammate. Compete. Have fun. And represent your family, your team, and your community well.

Due to weather delays, our 12U All-Star team was able to get in one more practice before tournament play begins.

We were honored to have our new head baseball coach, Daniel Hodge, stop by and speak to the team. Many of these players will have the opportunity to play for Coach Hodge in the coming years, and we are excited to continue strengthening the connection between our youth and school baseball programs.

Thank you, Coach Hodge, for investing in these young athletes and encouraging them as they look to finish a great season strong. ⚾️
