One person’s decision can change thousands of lives.
In 1990, Dr. Linnea Smith traveled to the Peruvian Amazon for what was supposed to be a short visit. What began as a trip became a lifelong commitment to bringing healthcare to communities in need.
Today, Amazon Medical Project (AMP) supports Clínica Yanamono in northeastern Peru, providing essential primary healthcare and preventive medicine to remote communities, with a special focus on women’s health and cervical cancer prevention.
More than three decades later, Dr. Smith’s dedication continues to make a difference, reminding us that meaningful change can begin with a single decision.
Be part of the next chapter. Whether through donations, medical supplies, or volunteering, every contribution helps support accessible healthcare for those who need it most.
