🚗 **Cannabis & Driving: An Important Conversation**
As cannabis use becomes more common, conversations about impaired driving need to evolve with it.
According to Illinois' 2025 Cannabis Report, **4.84% of Illinois respondents reported driving after using cannabis in 2023**, slightly higher than the national rate of 4.31%. That number also increased from 4.1% in Illinois during 2021–2022.
Impairment isn't always obvious, and feeling "okay to drive" doesn't necessarily mean you're able to drive safely. Cannabis can affect reaction time, judgment, coordination, and decision-making.
At Elevated QC, we believe education is one of the most important tools we have. The goal isn't to judge people for their choices. It's to help people understand the risks, make informed decisions, and keep themselves and others safe.
**The conversation starts with education.**
