Seven months ago, our members arrived to find four people hanging from windows, screaming for help.

That engine responded with only two firefighters—and today, our staffing remains at that same inadequate level.

Our members will continue to answer the call, but they shouldn’t have to do it without the staffing needed to safely and effectively protect our communities.

This fall, we hope our elected officials choose to put the safety of our citizens and firefighters first.
