I want to share with all of you one of my happiest days as a dad:

This Saturday my daughter Valentina formally initiated the first day of the rest of her life as a physician by wearing her UT Long medical school white coat for the first time.
I couldn’t help to tear up with pride, joy and gratitude seeing her up there reaping the fruits of her hard work all these years and fulfilling her dreams.
She recited the Hippocratic Oath for her first time, at which time me and her mom (also MD) had the honor to join her in doing so.
Congratulations Valentina! You make me so proud!

Nara Organics is recalling all cans of its powdered infant formula after three confirmed or suspected infant botulism cases were reported in babies who consumed the product in California, Washington and Pennsylvania. There are no reported deaths.

The formula was sold at Target stores, target.com and nara.com between July 2025 and June 2026. The recalled product lots are: 709125280E14F2, 709125288E14F2 and 708125174E14F2.

Signs and symptoms of infant botulism include constipation, poor feeding, drooping eyelids, low muscle tone and difficulty sucking and swallowing.
