To sit and wait is a privilege. To prepare your heart and mind for all possible outcomes is a privilege. To trust the process and the Mother is a privilege. To be a learning (remembering) Midwife is a privilege.

I didn’t get into Midwifery because I love babies (I mean I obviously do! These pics are evidence 😅) The sweet and adorable babies are a bonus to being able to sit with, love on, serve and care for Women.
Midwives care for babies too, but there would be no babies without the Women 💪🏾

Repeat clients hit different! 🥹 I’m so honored that this family allowed me to support them for the second time as they welcomed another perfect baby girl 🎀

Mama did amazing and had her second unmedicated birth 💪🏾 Her and baby girl are doing well and we praise God for that! 🙌🏾

1-2. I renewed my NRP certification with the original owner of Maternidad La Luz, thee amazing Deborah Kaley. She gave me some advice about moving forward in Midiwfery that I’ll carry with me 💫

4.I got pulled over on the way to a birth 😅 I told them I was speeding because I’m a Midiwfe headed to a birth. The cop, a man, said “Oh my God I’ve never met a Midwife!” He gave me a warning and let me go 😏
