This Friday will be the last day our retail storefront will be open.
As this day has approached, I thought I would be sad. But honestly, once I announced the closure last month, I've felt so excited, and now Friday can't come fast enough! Lol
The truth is, my biggest fear wasn't closing the storefront. My biggest fear was disappointing people. I was afraid to disappoint our customers. I was afraid to disappoint my family. And I was afraid to disappoint myself.
Over the last 10 years, we've had the privilege of welcoming you into our physical spaces...first in Ellicott City, then on Main Street in Sykesville, and most recently in our workshop space here on Progress Way. And while I've loved creating products for you, the real gift has been getting to know you.
I've loved hearing about your lives, your families, your celebrations, your challenges, and watching so many of you become friends. That connection has always been my favorite part of having a storefront.
I worried that closing the retail portion of our business would mean losing that connection. I worried people would be upset. I worried people would shop elsewhere. But once again, you've reminded me why I'm so grateful for this community.
You continue to show up for us. You continue to support our family. You continue to remind me that what we've built together is bigger than a storefront and isn't bound by four walls. And because of that, I'm incredibly excited about what's next!
I'm excited to offer more events and workshops. I'm excited to expand our online business and our wholesale business. I'm SO excited to continue growing our wellness offerings and transforming this space into a place where people can gather, connect, learn, create, and have fun together. And I can't wait to continue bringing you new products, new ideas, and the products you've already come to know and love.
While our physical storefront is closing, Be Blends is not going anywhere. In many ways, it feels like a brand new beginning for us....all of us.
We'll be announcing our new pickup hours soon, and we hope you'll still stop by, say hello, see what's new, and chat with us.
