Ju(LIE) as I like to call it. 📣
6 years ago TODAY I opened up a new LLC, started a new business, and rebuilt everything I once created. A business I had built from the ground up before 2 miserable souls decided to pull the rug out from under me. Served me with an injunction, prohibited me from working until a court hearing, and cost me over $435,000 in litigation. To fight for what was rightfully mine and attempt to destroy every single thing I owned. My mental health being one of them.
People are capable of horrible things. They lie. They cheat. They manipulate. They stab you in the back and twist the knife hoping you’ll never stand back up. Hoping you cave to the madness and eventually give up. Hoping you’ll run out of money and mental capacity. Hoping you’ll get sick of fighting. My persistence never wavered. I never gave up.
What we are not we can never understand. We go crazy trying. The truth is the world hasn’t changed much. We all experience this same behavior repeat itself in front of our very eyes. We bury it and disassociate. We don’t give the grace to ourselves to appreciate our strength when we’re able to escape toxic people and toxic cycles.
I’ve made some horrid and costly mistakes in my life. I’ve trusted people that I shouldn’t have even let breathe my air. I had to learn all of these things without a manual. I had to heal after so much heartbreak. I had to listen to the lies and manipulation of so many along the way. Whatever fresh hell that was, it’s all part of my story. I don’t deny it.
7 years later I’m free. Free of anyone and anything trying to steal my sunshine. My gifts. My light. I don’t need anything more than what I’ve got. There’s a reason things don’t work out. It’s all part of your destiny. Nothing makes sense in the moment. Nothing seems real until it isn’t. Trauma becomes teaching. The very curriculum guides you towards your better path. Today Healing Hamsa turns 7 in spite of every miserable MF who tried to stop it.
I could say so much more, but I’ve said enough. Don’t be afraid of anyone. Especially the trash.
