My son tore his ACL and during the procedure he found more issues with the knee he took the time and went the extra step to stabilize and fix while repairing the ACL. My son is currently back to 100% plus some, in all of the sport activities he could do before the surgery. The Newman Regional Health Volunteers awarded $18,000 in scholarships
to six students pursuing healthcare careers, with each recipient receiving a $3,000
scholarship.
Founded in 1955, the volunteer organization began its scholarship program in 1975 and has since awarded more than 170 scholarships totaling over $165,000 to students committed to serving others through healthcare.
This year's recipients are Diana Moreno, Aubrey Hammond, Ahmad Zeeshaan, Journey Peterson, Nolan Jacob, and Grace Xu.
