Recently read Free Me From Me by Ryan Wekenman, and it gave language to something many of us feel but can’t quite name. Honest, grounding, and quietly convicting in the best way. 🤍

My kids are the greatest example of play for me. It’s so effortless and natural for them, and at some point we fall away from playfulness. Play requires presence, and I definitely want to be someone who is where her feet are!
As I was getting ready this morning, all 3 of my boys were hiding under my bed shooting my feet with nerf guns. Completely silent. As if I had zero clue where the darts were coming from. I want to be more like them 🩵
