Come out to the Perry Hall Library next Thursday! We have a great panel of experts to help answer all of your questions about being able to stay in your home safely as you age!
Welcome Kristen Hall to the NAIPC, Baltimore Chapter!
Kristen is an occupational therapist and the founder of HALLway to Independence, a Maryland-based practice specializing in advanced, integrative rehabilitation delivered in the comfort of home. Her work focuses on helping individuals with complex neurological, orthopedic, lymphatic, and nervous system-related conditions improve function, independence, and quality of life through highly personalized care. Kristen is passionate about bridging the gap between traditional healthcare and the level of support people actually need to thrive at home.
Kristen's passionate about this work because she has seen firsthand how much better outcomes can be when care is individualized, empowering, and built around the person instead of the system. Too often, people are discharged with unanswered questions, fragmented care, or the belief that they just have to “live with it.” Kristen loves helping clients and caregivers understand the why behind the body, reconnect with function, and realize there are often more options available than they were ever told. Kristen's goal is to bring evidence-based, whole-person care into real life — where people actually live, move, and participate in daily activities.
"I joined the National Aging in Place Council (NAIPC) because I strongly believe aging in place should be supported by collaboration, education, and access to high-quality resources. NAIPC brings together professionals who are committed to helping individuals remain safe, independent, and engaged in their communities. I’m excited to contribute a rehabilitation perspective to those conversations, particularly around accessing specialized outpatient-at-home services that many people don’t even realize exist."
