It would be way too cold for public schools to attempt this. They would rather close schools than let kids learn because of the cold. Tonight, I was showing Chandler how things freeze in these very cold temperatures.

One thing about homeschool. There's never a shortage of time to keep your room neat. And that's one thing I never have to ask this kid to do. Pretty darn good job for 12. But this has been ongoing for years. He can't stand clutter.

So.. when you have a kid that starts needing more motivation, a kid that likes games as well as the outdoors. For this situation, you need to build a rewards system for them that teaches saving/spending responsibility that will also motivate them. Now, I don't want him to bankrupt me. So I came up with a solution. vBuck are a good bargaining chip for him (I know I hate the things too, but... lets play on words, I am the Homeschool Dad you know... D-Bucks (please don't sue me Epic Games) Btw, the mystery gift is a trip to Chuck E. Cheese or Dave & Buster's but he does not know that - nor will anyone tell him or I will crawl through these ethernet and....

What does homeschooling look like? He's still sleeping. He'll wake up fresh, and ready to learn. No sense dragging a near teenager out of bed 6:00 in the morning when their brain isn't ready. Did you know that most of your growth is done while sleeping?
