One life lost to su***de is one too many. 💜

Far too many families know this kind of heartbreak.

If you've recently lost someone, please know there's no "right" way, nor any time frame to grieve. In time, I pray the laughter, the memories, the adventures, and the love begin to outweigh the heartbreak.

When the time is right, remember the person who passed as the WHOLE person. After all... who wants to be remembered by their hardest, darkest, or most icky moment(s) anyway? 💛 Their story was so much bigger than the chapter in which they left this Earth.

You don't have to have the right words. You don't have to wait until things get worse. You don't have to carry it alone.

Start with someone you trust. OR, call or text 988. If talking feels hard - you can also chat online at the Su***de & Crisis Lifeline.

Maybe you're NOT the one struggling. Maybe you're the safe person someone else turns to. 988 is a resource for you, too.

If you would like to help and don't know how - maybe consider supporting su***de prevention efforts, joining a walk, checking in on someone who's been on your heart, or simply saying a prayer.

You never know whose life your kindness, your words, or simply your presence might help carry through one more day.

Yo! For those of you that may have been left concerned, please know, the previous boring video was solely to portray to people, no matter your beliefs, backgrounds, financial status, or what your last check up note/status says....

To the reader, and to our boys:

I believe that ALL health matters. Spiritual, Social, Financial, Physical, Intulectual, Emotional, Mental, etc. And for many, people, they "live in the green" - which is AWESOME! But for peeps that are turnin' yellow or worse yet, orange, and then maybe miss the signs and someday MIGHT find themselves in the "red" zone... it's OKAY. And some of those people are too stubborn, ashamed, or scared to ask for help. Those are the peeps I wanna share with the message that there ARE ways to get'cha back to green - no matter the path. (I'm happy to help you find resources!)

And if you aren't able to get back to the color you're looking for by the "end" of this lifetime on Earth - I believe there is still One way to get your "needle all the way to Green".

ALL health matters and IS WORTHY OF CARE. It doesn't have to look perfect. (I'm a frigging mess! And I fail WAY more times than I win. But that's where the learning is supposed to happen - and some learn faster than others. 😉)

Love God.
Love people (even their idiosyncrasies).
Live with integrity.
Do what feels right.
Be The best Light you can be.
Tell the others when they light you up, too.

And if ever the time comes when your "needle starts moving into uncharted territory", it's okay to ask for resources.

Please? Picture with me a simple, colored gauge on the dash of a vehicle. It's a half circle, flat side down. The left side is green, and as the guage needle moves clockwise the colors in the background of the needle turn from green, towards yellow, towards, red. GREEN = no cavities at that check up, won five bucks at work for putting my name in a hat, just helped someone towards accepting Jesus as their Lord and Savior, vehicle's tank is full of gas - oil changed - tires rotated and it's ready for the road trip

GREEN-Needle all the way down? All your prayers/well wishes/good vibes for your closest loved ones

It's funny how time can have a different point of view. A minute can seem like an eternity when waiting for that specific phone call, offer, statistic, (extra point). Yet not nearly long enough when sitting with a beloved soul. So many "things" have such different points of view(s).

SPIRITUAL health matters. PHYSICAL health matters. MENTAL health matters. How do YOU see each one of those? (Other types of health, yes... but you see which one I put first - the second two come in at a tie. Doesn'tmatter.)
