Last night marked our 4th session with Cohort 2, and it was nothing short of transformative.
This wasn’t just a meeting—it was a moment. A collision of courage, honesty, and women choosing something different.
Our speaker, Janna J, brought over 20 years of recovery into the room and delivered what can only be described as truth with backbone. She didn’t just speak about parenting through addiction and recovery—she embodied it. The kind of lived experience you can’t teach, only earn.
What followed? Real dialogue. The kind that doesn’t stay surface-level.
Questions were asked that mattered. Conversations unfolded that were raw, complex, and deeply necessary—for mothers navigating relationships with their children now, and for those fighting to rebuild them.
This is where healing happens. Not in isolation—but in community.
And speaking of community—ours showed up in full force.
A heartfelt thank you to our board members Stephen Hurley and Erica Berg for stepping in to provide childcare, creating space for these women to be fully present. And to one of our incredible alumni moms, Cheryse, who came back to support—that is the ecosystem we’re building. Full circle. No one gets left behind.
We are not just running sessions.
We are building a support system, a standard, and a community worth belonging to.
Big Shout out to Tanya at Tees Tacos and helping us with a fast order of the best frybread tacos in town! Everyone leaves fed, satisfied, and Empowered.
We are deeply grateful to First Lutheran Church for continuing to provide a beautiful, welcoming space—not only for our sessions, but for our children to connect, play, and simply be kids.
And behind the scenes, Stuart with Tiwahe Media Production was there capturing it all. The moments you don’t always see—but the ones that matter most. We’re excited to share what comes next.
