Good morning and welcome! I’m Melody, Director of the Project Milk Carton Foundation, a charter of the Project Milk Carton nonprofit organization.

If you’re here, chances are you believe something many of us have felt for a long time:

Children deserve better.

Project Milk Carton Foundation is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to strengthening child welfare through transparency, education, accountability, and practical solutions.

We are not here to create more noise.

We’re here to create more clarity.

Every day, extraordinary work is being done by parents, foster families, social workers, law enforcement, nonprofits, researchers, educators, and public officials across this country. The problem isn’t always a lack of people who care.

Too often, it’s that the information, resources, and knowledge they need are scattered across thousands of organizations, agencies, reports, laws, and databases.

Our mission is to help connect those pieces.

We build practical tools, organize public information, translate complex systems into understandable language, and help everyday citizens better understand the world of child welfare.
