This is for Artist's/Musician's/Engineer's/Producer's

As an artist, Anytime u go to a studio, you should specify to the engineer if the session is a "Work for hire" or do you need him/her to "vocal produce".
If not, you should know your song front to back, or have your personal producer with you at your sessions.
Vocal production is "usually" the engineer telling the artist to change something to the original creative process when recording the song.
It's a standard to give the vocal producer % of the song. That % always depends on how much of an impact the change is.
It's important to specify the difference. Vocal production can sometimes help your song out in big ways, because the engineer has that engine"ear" (knee slapper 🤣)

Mixing tips from Weet
🔴Cut out the double breath, and turn the lead vocal breath down until it sits there without being too loud
🟡Take out all breath where the adlibs are.

This helps to clear up space so vocals aren’t over crowded and the breath isn’t soo much up front.
