We surprised Roger, our beloved Dietary Aide, with a retirement celebration honoring an extraordinary 32 years of dedicated service at Long Island Care Center.

For more than three decades, Roger has been a familiar face, a friendly smile, and an important part of countless residents’ and staff members’ lives. His kindness, dedication, and unwavering commitment have left a lasting impact on our Long Island Care Center family.

Roger, thank you for 32 amazing years of caring for our residents and making our community a better place every single day. We wish you a retirement filled with happiness, relaxation, and many wonderful new adventures, you’ve certainly earned it!

After breaking his hip in a fall, Hassan came to Long Island Care Center from Long Island Jewish Medical Center unable to walk. Long Island Jewish Medical Center

Through personalized physical therapy, expert rehabilitation, and his determination to keep moving forward, he’s now climbing stairs and reclaiming his independence.

He couldn’t walk after breaking his hip. Today, he’s climbing stairs. 💛

After a fall that resulted in a broken hip, Hassan came to Long Island Care Center from Long Island Jewish Hospital with one goal: regain his independence. Long Island Jewish Medical Center

With determination, hard work, and the support of our expert physical therapy team, he’s gone from being unable to walk to confidently climbing stairs. Every step is a reminder of what’s possible with personalized rehabilitation and compassionate care.
